Hi Everyone I was just checking out Beary Box and wow wait til you see this week's cards! They are stunning! It was a great sketch this week... why not check out the card challenge that Beary Box is running and be in with a chance at some great prizes each week. It has been a busy week for me... I haven't gotten much scrapping done over the week before with my DH's birthday so I am trying to make up for it this week. March is almost here and I am so excited to tell you that I am a guest Designer for the wonderful Tanyah at Scrap n Craft with T for the Month of March. So today I was very busy working on a single page lo.... wow I love it and can't wait to share it with everyone once it goes up on Scrap N Craft with T. But for now... here is my take on this week's card sketch for Beary Box. It didn't photograph as well as I would have liked but the front of the card is made from acetate and the kaiser rhinestones are mounted on that whilst the flowers are attached to the inside of the card....Hope it inspires someone out there! Thanks for tuning in!

Time is moving along so quickly at the moment. My darling hubby Ken had his 40th birtday bash on Saturday night for the past week I have been just sooo busy! But it was all worth it! Life is slowly returning to normal and as it is Monday night it is time to post my latest Beary Box sketch! This week is a very basic take as I didn't get a chance to put much work into it! But I am still happy with it.... Tomorrow I am off to Gladstone for some reporting on my son's recent tests and then I will be hitting my studio on Wednesday for another BB card. I am so excited I can't wait to use my nestability die cuts and some of the wonderful images that my bestie Caz (aza Carolyn .. be sure to check out her blog My Little Slice of Scrapping Paradise!) sent me recently as a RAK! You are the bestest bestie Miss C and I does love ya! Ok thanks for stopping by my blog and have a lovely evening or great day (whichever applies!) xo S

This is my double lo submission for "My Sketch World" for the callout that has just closed for a possible DT position. As I posted earlier in the day they recieved over 100 submissions so I don't expect to get a spot but it was a great sketch and I loved the way my layout came together! Hope you like it too and if you want some inspiration please check out the talented DT members at MSW.... http://mysketchworld.blogspot.com/

Just thought I would share with you the card entry I sent into My Sketch World to audition for a position on their new DT for 2009. I just visited their blog and found out that there were over 100 entries for the DT positions on both the card and layout Design Teams. I somehow think knowing that I won't be successful but at least I tried and I had fun doing the sketch challenge which is the main thing! So tell me what you think girls? Also if you like doing sketch challenges or just want some inspiration be sure to check out their blog (here is the link : http://mysketchworld.blogspot.com/) to see some great work from their current design teams. Hope everyone has a good week.

Hope that no matter where you are in the world that you are safe and comfortable tonight! It is so hard to believe all the bad weather that we are seeing around the globe, from extreme heat waves, to extreme floods and now extreme snow blizzards!! Take extra special care of yourselves and know that I am thinking of each and everyone of you!
Some of you will know by now and some not but Joey from Beary Box asked me if I would consider joining the card DT team as well as continue with the Layout DT. I was so excited and happily accepted!!
So here is my first submitted sketch to Beary Box be sure to jump over and take a look at the other design team members cards... I was totally blown away by them! I feel like a newbie in their presence!!
Have a great Friday !! And thanks for stopping by!

What's the weather like in your little corner of the globe? Today it has been rather hot here but I daren't not complain coz it is nothing like what our southern states have been coping of late. Well yesterday whilst it was a bit cooler I had to make some cards. I realised I had a plethora of male birthday's coming up in Feb and no cards to send out. So with not much time I headed out to my studio and managed to make up 10 quick and easy peasy cuttlebug cards. So I thought I would share a couple with you. Thanks for taking the time to have a look........
