Little Sweetie by Nicayla

Yesterday whilst I was organising our new RAK & Bday Clubs for Scrap Chat n Challenges Nicayla decided she wanted to do some scrapbooking too. She choose a lo of mine to scraplift and then went about choosing her own pp's from her stash and her photo's and embellies too. She is becoming quite the little scrapper. The only thing she wanted some help with was distressing the pp's as I do it with a knife and she wanted it done just how I do it! lols. Thanks for looking ladies. Hugs xo Shirl PS Nicayla you did a great job sweetheart! Mumma is very proud of you!!

Morning Everyone

This is the lo I came up with for my March Themed Challenge over at Scrap Chat n Challenges. My theme for the month is Water Babies.... It has been wet here, there and everywhere, tsunami warnings... all the news has been about water so the idea of water babies popped into my head.

Have had a great weekend scrapping and making some cards whilst doing the SCnC Summer Cyber Crop. Thanks girls for a wicked weekend. Congrats to Shaz for the speedy win on the bingo and a huge thanks to Michelle for organising the whole event.

Best be off now and get some dreaded hw done!

Thanks for stopping by xo Shirl

Capture The Moment

And lastly for today this is the layout I did for Wella's Challenge at Scrap Chat n Challenges. Wella used the inspiration of Slip Slop and Slap to create her summer lo using distressing, inking, tearing, painting and such to finish off her creation. She challenged us to do the same. So without further to do - my inspiration from Wella's great challenge. Might I say I really love the way it turned out! Thanks for a great challenge Wella. xo Shirl

Splash Time

This is the layout I have created for Amanda's Challenge at Scrap Chat n Challenges..... we had to use 1 chippie, 2 word title, 3 photo's and 4 pieces of patterned paper. My 4th piece of paper was used to cover the chippie vine. Thanks for a great challenge Amanda I had fun doing it!! xo S

Here is the layout I created for my challenge on the Scrap Chat n Challenges site. We are having our first cyber crop with a lovely Summer Theme over this weekend. My challenge is to use the theme of Australia Day to come up with a lo. Now it can literally be what you do to celebrate Aust Day or open to your interpretation. Hope the girls had fun with my challenge. Thanks for looking everyone! xo Shirl

Scrap Chat 'n' Challenges Themed Challenge February

Here is my second challenge piece for SCnC. This is another challenge I am setting - the THEMED challenge. As I got it in early Feb I thought it best to set something easy peasy so the theme for this month is Valentines Day... so create a lo based on the love theme. Here is the lo I made on the weekend as an example. The lined loveheart is where I will do some private journalling..... Loved playing with the new Q3 Kaiser papers again and this lo is a partial scraplift as well. You can see the original in the new kaiser mag! Thanks for looking girls. Happy scrapping xo Shirl

Here are a few cards I made over the weekend as well. One is to be a birthday card for one of the girls at Ken's work. The other two were made at the Papercraft Convention we all went to on Sunday. Thanks for looking ladies... hope you leave me some feedback. Hugs xo Shirl

Hey Everyone

Ken is finally back at work and I have found some time to post some of my new work. This is a lo I did a few days ago now (Sat to be exact) using some of the new kaiser Q3 pp's. I was hoping getting some new papers would kick start my mojo but sadly no such luck. So this lo is a scraplift from one of the DT members and is featured in the current Kaisercraft Magazine. Hope you enjoy my take on it. Here we have Jordan and Nicayla at Mt Cootha in Brisbane late last year.... actually showing some love! Thanks for stopping by ! Hugs xo Shirl
