Twisted Sketches No 64 - Wood

Evening Ladies

Well it has been a long but somewhat productive day. Soccer at Maroochydore this morning and then after lunch I managed to make a twisted easel card using my new Tilda Goes Shopping stamp for my son's friend Hannah, who has a birthday this weekend.

But tonight I want to share with you another card especially made to share on Twisted Sketches. So please ladies be sure to head on over there and check out the other amazing cards created by my fellow twisted sisters. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Firstly this is the card I created for the sketch:

And this is a second card created from the same sketch:

Thanks for stopping by everyone. Hope you are having a great weekend.

Pretty In Pink

Here are a couple of new cards I have created this week. Got a feel for something new so I made an envelope card and then a swing card. I haven't made one of these for probably at least a couple of years so it was nice to do something different. Hope you are all having a great week and getting lots of crafty creations happening to share with us all. Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget.... not long now until my next card will go up for Twisted Sketches, so be sure to come on back real soon. Hugs xo Shirl

Well I had a lovely morning out supporting a wonderful friend, Susan Luke. Susan is a Stampin Up demonstrator and had a card class on this morning. Susan came up with two gorgeous cards for us to make. So tonight I wanted to share them with you all. I hope they help to inspire you to get your cardstock out, grab some inks and get crafty!

Thanks for stopping by. Stay tuned for some more cards tomorrow!

Card and A Half

My gorgeous and very talented friend Helen Jolly recently started up the Card and a Half blog. I have been a slack friend and have been meaning to promote her blog here but have been so busy the past three weeks (that my dh has been away) that I am only now just getting around to it. So if you have a male card to make and need a challenge... please head on over to Helen's Blog, Card and A Half and check out her latest card challenge and some of her pruddy cards! Thanks Helen... you rock! Will be trying to get some of your card challenges done sweetie, honest! Love ya Shirl

Twisted Sketches No 62 - twist Ribbon

So happy to share with you all my very first sketch for Twisted Sketches

Our twist for this sketch was ribbon - anyway, anyhow! So please be sure to get on over to the site and check out not only the sketch but all the other lovely cards on display from my twisted sketches sisters! You won't be sorry.... their cards are just gorgeous!

For this project I used mainly leftover products, so I have to apologise to you ladies as I can't tell you the name/brand of the pretty patterned papers I have used. Other products used but included - bazzill cardstock, white doily, prima flowers, blue ribbon, pearls & kindy glitz. Stamped image is from Magnolia - Tilda coloured using copic ciao pens.

Thanks for stopping by ladies.... have a great Sunday! Hugs Shirl

Exciting News

Ok ladies... well I am just home from a trip up north for a soccer match where Jordie and four of our other boys played up for the U13 Div 2 boys and then a home game for his own side the U12 Div 1 boys. Sadly they lost both games BUT omg they played so well. Will post some pics later but we just all got our training jerseys (arranged by one of our parents) Gosh our boys are surely one handsome bunch now!

Anyways I was so excited to see almost first thing on a FB page the announcement of the Design Team that I was recently lucky enough to be chosen for! So without further adieu I want to say a HUGE thank you to the gorgeous Anam firstly for choosing me and secondly a big congrats to my fellow Card DT members Anita Mulcahey, Brianna Carter, Jamie Long, Kendra Sheehan, Sue Jones and Teresila Freddi (Card Design Team A), Betty Schaub, Elena Bianconi, Jessica Wrightington, Linda Hoffman, Michelle Johns, Nadia Cannizzo, and Tina J Mello (Card Design Team B). Well done ladies... can't wait to work alongside you all for the next six months. Have just seen your entry cards and OMG girls they are all so different but each and everyone of them is stunning.

So.... if you will ladies please get right over to Twisted Sketches and check out these amazing ladies. Each week there will be an amazing card sketch and layout sketch to keep the creative juices flowing and some amazing inspiration from the talented ladies listed above.

Have a great day ladies and I will be back very soon to share with you my very first "official" card for my term with Twisted Sketches!
